About the cats
Gray tabby · Male · 5 years old
Mochi
Mochi is curious and observant. He can be cautious with new people and needs time to approach them on his own. Once settled, he’s affectionate and enjoys spending evenings with his people.
He’s comfortable on his own during a normal workday.
Black cat · Female · 5 years old
Boba
Boba is gentle, playful and affectionate once she’s comfortable. She can be shy around new people or noise and may hide while she settles in.
She enjoys being near her people and does best when she can approach at her own pace.
Both are litter-box trained, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.
Living with them
Daily care and support
We’ll remain their owners and bring them home when we return. Before they move in, we’ll meet and talk through their routines and your household.
Day to day
Meals, fresh water, litter care, play and companionship. We’d appreciate occasional photos and updates, and a heads-up if anything changes.
Settling in
A quiet room gives them space to get comfortable at their own pace. Other cats may be possible with slow introductions and a separate area. No outdoor time during the foster stay, even after they’ve settled in.
Supplies and handoff
We’ll provide their food, litter and Litter-Robot, and share their routines and veterinary information.
Location
We’re based in Bellingham. Within about 30 minutes is ideal, but we’re open to the right fit from Blaine to the Tacoma area.
Travel and backup care
If you expect to travel or may need a break, let’s discuss that before committing. We’ll need to agree who can provide backup care.
Before we begin
We’ll agree on the return date, care, payment, expenses and backup arrangements in writing.
